Dancing Round the World – John Held Jr.

John Held Jr. (1889 – 1958) was an American cartoonist best known for his iconic depictions of the “flapper” era. A prolific cartoonist who contributed to the magazines Life, The New Yorker, Judge, and others, Held also drew Sunday pages, wrote and illustrated books, and executed silhouettes in wrought iron in his Weston CT forge.
