Gluyas Williams (1888 – 1982) was an American cartoonist celebrated for his linear, understated drawings and insights into middle-class life. He contributed to Life and The New Yorker, was in demand as a book illustrator (Robert Benchley, Edward Streeter), and was a syndicated daily-panel cartoonist.
